Tribute to Patrick Nutor
By Ronke Ogunsulire, Regional Manager, International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group
We met at Dartmouth where we were both at the Engineering School. Your intelligence and drive impressed me from the moment we met. In college, you were such a great ambassador for Ghana and the continent and I was happy to have you as a friend. Discovering later that there was a family connection increased the bond between us; my beloved Godmother, Aunty Charity Ronke Adadevoh, whom I was named after, was your close relative.
I was excited when I was posted to Accra for work. We remained good friends. You introduced me to kelewele, waakye and chop bars. You always looked out for me, and provided support when I needed it. Ever kind, generous, and caring. A true brother.
I am proud of all the great things you accomplished – your beautiful family, Accu-Computers, your charities; you touched so many lives.
I am lucky to have known you. I will miss you.
Rest in peace dear Patrick.
