“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die” Thomas Campbell
Patrick, “Amega”,
We regarded you as our big brother. We enjoyed your visits to Columbus and the times we rendezvoused in Accra. Ohhh, our trips to Ghana will never be the same without you there.
Whenever we were fortunate to meet you we would have such interesting conversations and talk for hours. You took a genuine interest in what we were doing and planned to do. You were full of ideas and brainstorming for you, was second nature.
We have fond memories of the the time you graciously invited us to lunch two years ago. We almost didn’t make it because our schedule was so tight; we are so glad we did! That afternoon was amazing you took us round your home and gave us the ‘history’ of the house. It was an afternoon filled with laughter and fun.
It was wonderful to see you again a couple of months later at Papa’s memorial. Who knew that would be the last time we saw you?
We will miss your good company, your calming voice, and the essence of you.
What more can we say but
“Amega” sleep well and Rest in Perfect Peace.
