How can I forget how Patrick welcomed me SO warmly into the Nutor family some 3 decades ago? His countless thoughtful gestures and generous actions since then are too many to recount. He warmed our home here in Ohio several times with his laughter and presence, sometimes accompanied by dear Lynda, Klenam & Sefakor. I will never forget our many food feasts, music, dancing, fun chats & games (especially with James until the wee hours of the morning)! We were blessed to be warmly hosted in his home in Ghana too – cherished memories indeed. I was so pleased to discover that the name Patrick appropriately meant ‘noble man’ & vividly remember his joy when we had it designed and framed for him.
I said this to Patrick in person, but it bears repeating – ” THANK YOU for being a GREAT brother to my husband, THANK YOU for being a SPECIAL uncle to our children & THANK YOU for being such an AMAZING ‘family man’ with your big heart.” We will continue to hold on to Hebrews 13:1 “Let brotherly love continue”
Now for the last time I will quote, in my limited Ewe, the phrase that always brought a smile to your face – ” Na dogbe siaa nye bro ”
